About the Role

We are looking for a creative social media intern to work with our agency. The social media intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the social media team with brainstorming campaigns.

To be successful as a social media intern you must have excellent knowledge of various social media platforms and have the ability to develop creative campaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts.

  • Managing the social media calendar
  • Brainstorming campaign ideas
  • Posting on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn using different mediums such as text, audio and video
  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service
  • Engages with customers or clients and refers opportunities for service and/or sales
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes
  • Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems
  • Assists in creating performance reports


  • In 3rd or 4th year of college program, a concentration in Communications or related field is preferred
  • Prior industry experience is a plus
  • Prior experience with marketing or social media is also a plus

Work Hours and Benefits

  • 10-15 Hours/week
  • Letter(s) of recommendation commensurate with performance
  • Commissions paid on direct referrals
  • Creative freedom within brand style and voice
